"I have been the patient, cared for by a nurse in my most vulnerable of times. I have been the family member, comforted by a nurse as I prayed and grieved. Now, newly graduated from the University of Calgary, I am a nurse. This means that I have the opportunity to heal the mind, soul, heart and body of my patients - the same way that mine were empowered. Although it is well worth it, nursing school was not without its academic and financial challenges. Being a new graduate, I am so thankful for this scholarship from smart’n, as it will support me in the next step in my nursing career - writing and passing the NCLEX!”

“This scholarship was a nice reward during this stressful period of time of studying and wrapping up my program. It is relieving to know that the overwhelming financial aspects of becoming an RN (that I was not anticipating) is being supported by Smart’n!”
